What's new with Google+

Hey there Plussers! I'm your friendly neighborhood G+ Server Eng Manager, and I wanted to take a little time to tell you some of the great things the G+ team is working on. As always, we listen carefully to your feedback, and in the coming months, we'll be focusing on your most highly requested areas of improvement, including:

• Better spam control
• Enhanced community moderation
• Improvements to the web user experience
• More intuitive navigation and discovery
• Cleaner notifications

And more that we'll reveal as they become available ;)

We've heard your desire to stay informed about G+ product updates. Going forward, you can expect to hear more from me; our Product Managers, like John Nack​, our Program Managers, like Carter Gibson​; and Community Managers, like Leanne Osborne​ and Madeleine DeRome​. We'll try our best to reply to questions and keep you up to date on all the great progress.

Warning: Sharing That Image Could Get You Banned or Blacklisted Most people have no idea that the way in which they are sharing images on #SocialMedia  or on their blogs could actually get them banned, blacklisted, or worse! Born on Google Plus Google plus has given all of us an opportunity – it put people from all over the world in a single room and let us mingle. For some, it meant new opportunities, for others it was a chance to shine and for us it was the beginning of a whole new adventure that started out with a single share.  One day, simply because I felt like sharing, I posted a workout collage I’d put together earlier that day to use in my training later. Sharing it amongst friends was nothing new for me but by pressing that “share to public” button took it across Google+ and then across the web within 24 hours. Something completely ordinary to me became extraordinary for others, it was simple yet it cut across cultures and borders and it made sense to people from every corner of the world.
