Bit.ly shortener support is finally here.

Bit.ly shortener support is finally here. Friends+Me allows you to choose between goo.gl and bit.ly shortener or you can disable use of URL shortener. Also I have found out, that Facebook is blocking some goo.gl links. It's crazy. I can't tell why, but some links shortened by goo.gl are blocked. On the other side all links shortened by bit.ly are ok. If you want to reduce failed reposts of your Google+ activities to Facebook we strongly suggest to use Bit.ly shortener. Hopefully bit.ly support will help us to get rid of these stupid errors Warning: This Message Contains Blocked Content... and The content you're trying to share includes a link that's been blocked for being spammy... . Merry christmas everyone.

If you share post to public community, please use #ns hashtag otherwise Friends+Me will repost this shared post twice.

If you share post to public community, please use  hashtag otherwise Friends+Me will repost this shared post twice. There's still no way of how to  distinguish public share from community share. Newly created community posts do not need special treatment.

Share Google+ to LinkedIn

Share Google+ to LinkedIn We gladly present you repost from personal Google+ to LinkedIn. This eagerly awaited feature is finally available to all Friends+Me users. All you have to do is to connect your LinkedIn account to Friends+Me and choose whether you want your reposts to be seen by everyone or only by LinkedIn users you're connected to. LinkedIn limits the number of user shares per day to 25 but it should be more than enough. Google+ activities are shared to LinkedIn only when a control hashtag is used. It is a preferred option due to the daily limit. Enjoy. http://blog.friendsplus.me/2012/12/share-google-to-linkedin.html

Good news everyone

Good news everyone, Friends+Me received higher Google+ API quota . The interval between reposts has been restored to 5 minutes. Full speed ahead. We would love to thank Google+ Developer Relations Team for granting Friends+Me such a big quota and to all people who helped to make it so. Friends+Me is back in business .

Hello everybody

Hello everybody,   it is amazing to see so many people want to use Friends+Me.   I am afraid we got into a trouble. There is so many new users and so fast that Friends+Me have run out of Google+ API daily limit. I've sent request to increase that limit almost 9 days ago and yesterday twice, but still no answer. If you know someone from Google who can speed up processing of our quota request, it would be most appreciate if you contact them. Again I am very sorry for the inconvenience and I hope you'll give Friends+Me another try after quota limit problem will be solved. Thank you all. PS. To process all new users (with current Google+ API daily limit) we had to increase interval between reposts to 30 minutes. This way the service will not simply stop, but will perform it's function (only a little slower).

Here's a new way to automatically send your Google+ posts to Twitter and (ugh) facebook.

Here's a new way to automatically send your Google+ posts to Twitter and (ugh) facebook. I'm on the Mike Elgan diet meaning that almost all of my content is done here on Google+. Then I pipe it automatically to Twitter and facebook. Linda Lawrey told me about ManageFlitter which is good and it is what most people use. But I think I found something better: Friends+Me. Up until now I would use ManageFlitter to grab my Google+ posts and send them to Twitter and then facebook's Twitter app would grab them from there. But as you see in the pic below, that ain't pretty. Now Friends+Me sends my posts to both places and formats them very nicely. The posts on facebook look like they were originated there. Here is why I recommend you give Friends+Me a try: •  The posts on facebook look MUCH better •  Friends+Me checks your feed and posts every 5 minutes. ManageFlitter refreshes every 30 minutes unless you pay. That's a big deal when I am covering breaking news or encouraging

Google+ Communities are here!

Google+ Communities are here! Awesome feature but is there anyone who don't want Friends+Me to repost public posts you send to your Google+ Communities? Do you want it be configurable? What do you think?

Friends+Me now reposts photos to Facebook as photos because it looks much better than normal post with thumbnail picture.
