Schedule posts for Google+ Profiles and Collections without the browser running all the time!

I am happy to announce that Google+ team has taken another step in the right direction and made it possible to publish to Google+ profiles and collections to all Google+ partners.

So from now on, Friends+Me users are going to be able to schedule and publish posts for Google+ profiles and collections without the need to keep the browser with the Friends+Me extension up and running all the time!

We've almost lost all hopes but it's finally here! How cool is that!

All you have to do is to reconnect your already connected Google+ Profile and Page accounts to enable this new feature.
The feature will be automatically enabled for all accounts you'll connect from now on.

There's a catch. The extended Google+ API do not support publishing to Google Apps profiles, only vanilla Google profiles are supported at the moment. Google+ team promised to remove this limitation soon.

Let me know what you think of this new feature.

Enjoy :)

  4. Friends+Me You might like to modify that post. SOME Apps profiles (like mine) ARE free. Being free is not what distinguishes Apps account from vanilla gmail/googlemail accounts.

  5. Julie Wills good point! I've changed "free" to "classic" is it better?

  6. Friends+Me Classic had a very different meaning, especially at the moment, as in Classic UI vs New UI.

There's no real definitive way to say it, but "Vanilla" accounts usually covers it.

TBH, people who have Apps / GfW accounts will know that they have them, and people who don't don't need to worry about it anyway.

  7. Julie Wills hmm, "Vanilla" sounds about right :) Thanks!

  9. This is great news Friends+Me, but I still have problems to post from my profile to my collections. The posts always get posted as public. Anybody else is experiencing this? Any idea what is going wrong? Thanks in advance!

  10. Gill Andrews it most likely is problem with Google accounts you're signed in. I've suggested next possible steps in email I've sent you a minute ago.

  11. Friends+Me Thanks for a quick response! I haven't got any email, unfortunately (also not it the spam folder). Could you please send it again to julia.t.andrews@gmail.com? Thanks a lot in advance.

  12. Gill Andrews as this is a public post, visible to everybody on the internet, I would strongly recommend that you either delete your comment, or edit it to remove references to your email address to avoid it being harvested by spammers and scammers.

  13. Thank you for your concern Julie Wills, but my email address is also publicly visible in the "about" section of my G+ profile. Besides, I have enough trust in Gmail to sort out the spam. They have been doing a good job so far.

  14. Is there a way to disable posts from some of my collections from being reposted to my FB and/or Twitter accounts?

    Thanks!

  15. I'm a little unclear on something - Friends+Me is a repost scheduler rather than a post scheduler, right? I still have to manually post every day to my source account (or post a weeks worth of posts at once) which will re-post on a schedule. I can't actually line up, say, a month of posts to be published to my source account at a predetermined date, right?

  16. Hi Michele Kire we're no longer just cross-promotion service.
You can schedule posts for every connected social account. You can still benefit from our cross-promotion flow and also schedule posts as you need.
