Friends+Me is finally able not to repost activities shared to Google+ Communities.

The usage of  hashtag for community posts is not necessary anymore :)

    If I post to a community it always doesn't get shared? I don't share as default and use to share to fb. Will this still work with community posts?

    Right now, Friends+Me ignores all community posts.

    Heh, I've only been posting in private Communities.

    I've been wondering something: Might there be a more Google+ way of sharing externally? That is, have a Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn G+ contact (could be an email address) that I could share a post with and that would get the post reposted to each site, respectively. I don't know if that is feasible or not, but it would solve a couple of minor issues:

    1. Posts have to be public to be shared to be reposted. In some cases, I might like to share something non-publicly on G+ and, say, have it posted to Facebook, which I have set to post to friends only.

    2. No need for hashtag control. On posts where people have used hashtags for reposting, I often see people asking what the hashtag is for.

    Like I said, I don't know how hard this would be or if it is even possible, but I think it would be really cool.

    Jonathan Berry all that you said sounds great. It is technically achievable but setup is complicated and definitely not for everyone.

    We better wait for Google to extend Google+ API.
